| Explore the Galapagos Islands with our Adventure Itineraries |
|
The Galapagos Islands are an archipelago of volcanic islands which lie 600 miles (1,000 kilometres) west of the South American continent. They are one of the world’s greatest natural history destinations, their creatures having evolved in isolation and with little human impact until the 19th century. The archipelago is larger than most people think and each island is different from the next, both in terms of landscapes and the wildlife one encounters. We would always encourage our guests to take 6-night expedition cruise or a combination of two itineraries aboard the Isabela II, giving you the most complete and rewarding experience of this ‘living laboratory of evolution’. 2013
