Embark on an unforgettable adventure starting at Santa Cruz Island, where we delve into the vibrant highlands and then journey to the iconic Charles Darwin Research Station. The next day promises breathtaking panoramic views on Bartolome Island, where you can snorkel alongside playful penguins and relax on the stunning white coral sand beach of Sullivan Bay, bordered by a dramatic lava field shoreline.
On the following morning, we set off to Dragon Hill, the habitat of unique dusty yellow land iguanas, before exploring the volcanic crater at James Bay, retracing the steps of Charles Darwin himself. As we move westward, we take to our dinghies for an intimate experience with the rich wildlife at Punta Vicente Roca. Finally, we arrive at the youngest island in the archipelago, Fernandina, renowned for its untouched beauty and pristine environment, where nature thrives in its purest form, entirely free from human interference. A Unique Opportunity to Be a Part of Nature
This was an unique opportunity to visit a tourist regulated reserve to see wildlife that is non-threatened by overtourism. We boarded the ship, Isabella 2, which had approximately 40 guests. The ship was in splendid shape, and the crew was extremely professional and kind. We had 4 naturalists that provided an abundance of information regarding…

Cruise of a lifetime
Along with Antarctica, Galapagos has been on my 'must-do' list since I was a kid. The islands didn't disappoint, and neither did Metropolitan Touring.
